Classrooms

We believe that what, and how a child learns, in his/her first five years can greatly affect how the child learns later in life.

With this premise in mind, we will strive to create an environment of warmth and security where your child will feel confident in making choices and decisions.

We consider each child a unique individual and shall endeavor to meet his/her developmental needs by keeping our program as flexible as possible.

We encourage your child to explore his/her own creativity and imagination through art, language, music, movement & active learning.

We promote a positive self-image in each child to give him/her the tools needed to function confidently as an individual as well as in a group.

Our goal is to create an environment where the child, parents, and teachers feel comfortable.

Infant Program

Your baby is our priority. This is an on-demand classroom where teachers meet your infant’s needs whether that’s playing, napping, feeding, or cuddles.

One Year Program

At 12 to 24 months we incorporate a little more structure to promote appropriate interactions amongst peers. This aids with social and emotional development to build lasting relationships.

Toddler Program

In our Toddler room, we encourage children’s curiosity in exploring the world around them.

We provide age-appropriate activities to connect with the children and foster budding language skills such as songs, storytime, I love you rituals, felt board activities, and general conversations.

Music and movement activities, games, and outdoor play stimulate physical development.

We can help promote Cognitive Skills, Language, and Fine Motor Development by offering books, puzzles, science activities, and manipulative play.

Your child’s whole day is a learning experience. Even the most straightforward daily routines, such as hand washing, toileting, or clean-up times, promote skill building through language, physical, self-help, or cognitive skills.

Preschool Program

The preschool program introduces your child to a balanced interaction with friends in teacher-directed and child-directed experiences.

Our schedule includes time spent in our learning centers, group times for creative movement, music, storytelling, and dramatization.

Your child will learn the benefits of a structured schedule with specific times for each activity. For example, outside playtime (weather permitting), lunch, and wind-down time add to a morning’s worth of activities for your child.

We concentrate on specific monthly objectives, including shapes, numbers, colors, and letters. Each room has lesson plans posted. Expect weekly arts and crafts projects from your little one.

For those entering kindergarten, we also provide a pre-screening that determines their level and any areas upon which they may need extra focus.

The environment we pursue assists your child’s observation, questioning, and listening skills.

We strive to give your child an awareness of their feelings and the right to express them. Sometimes this means channeling them into more appropriate means of expression.

Your child will learn that they may make choices for themselves when they show consideration for other people and things.

Children are treasured for their uniqueness and individuality and are encouraged in self-expression.

Such an open-minded program prepares children to use their intellectual and creative abilities for future learning tasks.
