Here at Southern Pines Academy, we have three separate classrooms providing care for ages one to five.

We use the voluntary enhanced classroom requirements to maintain a lower staff-to-child ratio in our classrooms.

Providing our educators opportunities to work with your children in smaller groups.

Our Mission

We are committed to providing quality childcare services in a safe, healthy, developmentally appropriate, and nurturing environment.

Stimulating early care and educational experience promotes each child’s social/emotional, physical, and cognitive development.

Is Their Growth

All children are valued equally and feel a sense of security, warmth, and love.

We are committed to ensuring that each day allows for both planned and spontaneous experiences that result in positive learning adventures for your children.

Program and Goals

We believe children are naturally curious and learn best when they have opportunities to explore their world at their pace. Through the emergent Learn Every Day curriculum, we provide the environment and materials to spark interest in learning.

Our Early Childhood Educators, through observation, determine the interests of the children and provide materials to enhance that interest and challenge the children to “dig deeper” and “discover more.”

Gardens

Our garden assists in cultivating a love and appreciation of agriculture.

Our students explore the world of gardening, produce, and enjoy the fruits of their labor at snack time.
